Wantage Music Workshops were established in 2002 initially teaching Guitar and Bass under the name Resurrection Guitar workshop. For the last 14 years we have introduced Vocals, Drums and Blues harp. The tutors have a wealth of experience practically through live performances over the last thirty years and one-to-one tuition in the studio for Nineteen years.
Our Mission
The mission of Wantage Music Workshops is to educate, train and develop Students, enabling them to excel in music practically, in theory,
and to have the confidence to express themselves through different styles with the ability to improvise.
We always strive to maintain our 100% grading success.
Lessons are also tailored to each individuals requirements and preferences on learning songs or solo's which contain techniques that is beneficial to the student.
And ultimately for students of all ages to enjoy the use of their instrument and turn learning into fun!
Rockschool Gradings
Rockschool is about playing the styles of music you enjoy from jazz to funk and from rock to blues, developing your key skills, styles and techniques to help you achieve your musical goals.
There are nine grades from beginner to intermediate to advanced.
The grades are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) so when you pass you have a qualification and certificate recognised throughout the world.
